We are a Group Practice seeking passionate Washington State Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHC and LMHCA) to join our growing team. We are dedicated to supporting clinicians who are seeking a Private Practice Business within a Group Practice setting.
As a contractor and team member you will have the autonomy over your caseload size and scheduling, including the advantage of billing insurance providers. Part of Golden West Counseling’s mission is the dedication toward training counselors in building an ethical and sustainable Private Practice Business.
Our Counselors enjoy providing psychotherapy with the freedom to build at a pace of their choosing and receive clinical peer and administrative support. Clinicians work remotely from the comfort of their home, from the office (conditions apply) or hybrid.
We strongly encourage POC and other minority identified clinicians to apply. Applicants must be a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (or Associate) in the state of Washington & California.

- Structured marketing plan under Golden West Counseling and creation of personalized marketing campaign.

Responsibilities
Develop, implement, coordinate and evaluate clinical treatment for the diagnosis, treatment and interventions to clients.
Participate in business coaching and clinical consultation programs.
Administer specialized therapeutic procedures, as appropriate.
Prepare intake summaries, treatment plans, case summaries and maintain ongoing confidential records of client files.
Utilize resources of public and private agencies to meet the needs of client treatments, including referrals to external resources as appropriate.
Participate in Group Practice wide program development, implementation and evaluation.
Report safety concerns to mandated reporting agencies.

Qualifications
- LMHC – Associate Licensed are welcomed to apply.
- Washington State licensed only at this time.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous clinical responsibility to include crisis intervention.
- Previous experience in outpatient setting.
- Demonstrate professional maturity & ethical integrity necessary for assuming professional responsibilities.
- Demonstrated commitment to quality of service, teamwork, & participation in Group/Agency setting.
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to work independently with minimal management.

- Excellent verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills.
- Time management & organizational skills a must.
- Has experience in assessing, diagnosing and treating a broad range of mental health conditions
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be familiar with DSM-V as a mean of diagnosis.
- Knowledge of social service agencies, state regulations, & professional board standards as is related to treatment, client rights & confidentiality.
- Knowledge of Evidenced-Based Practice and psychotherapy methods.
- Knowledge of bio-psycho-social functions that contribute to mental health.
- Competence in individual (and family/couples if applies) psychotherapy.
- Professional maturity and ethical integrity necessary for assuming professional responsibilities.
- Commitment to quality of service, teamwork, and participation in creating and maintaining Private Practice standards.
- Ability to complete multiple tasks/objectives in a timely manner, including treatment notes.
