Does Veronica Anderson take insurance? How does reimbursement work?
Privacy first: No automatic sharing of diagnoses, treatment plans, or notes with insurers.
Clinical + leadership integration: We can combine therapy with strategic skills (communication, boundaries, performance under pressure) that plans rarely cover.
Right-sized care: Flexibility for extended sessions or intensives when complexity warrants it—without fighting authorization limits.
Faster decisions: We set frequency and length based on need, not by what a code allows.
Clear costs: Transparent fee structure, no surprise denials.
How is your therapy different; do you combine therapy and leadership coaching?
Yes, when appropriate. Core therapy focuses on emotional health (anxiety, mood, relationships, trauma impacts). Leadership coaching layers on skills like boundary-setting, high-stakes communication, decision hygiene, and performance under pressure. We’ll set goals and guardrails so coaching never replaces clinical care.
What if I need support between sessions or I’m in crisis?
You’ll get structured between-session tools (brief check-ins, skills practice, targeted homework).
Golden West does not provide emergency service nor provides on-call crisis care. If you’re in immediate danger or a mental-health crisis, call 911, 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), or go to the nearest emergency department.
For urgent, non-emergency matters, message your therapist and they will reply during business hours.
Do you offer telehealth or in-person? Which states are you in?
Veronica Anderson offers telehealth is across California, Washington, Oregon, and Arizona. Limited in-person options may be arranged for intensives. In person options are available at our Los Angeles and Irvine locations.
What are your session formats, length, and frequency?
Standard sessions are 53 minutes. Extended sessions (75–120 minutes) are available for deeper work. Frequency is personalized. Weekly to start, then taper as you meet milestones.
What happens in the first session?
You and your therapist will clarify goals, review history and current stressors, map what “better” looks like, and agree on a working plan (session length, cadence, and any between-session tools). They will also review informed consent, privacy practices, scheduling policy and boundaries so you know exactly how they work.
