Many people can feel they have become “stuck” at a certain point in their life, such as a challenging life adjustment, communication difficulties in a relationship, or getting caught up in negative thoughts and behaviors. My goal in therapy is to establish a safe and supportive environment to freely express your inner thoughts and concerns, while providing resources and a platform for you to advocate for yourself.

Culture identity, values, past experiences, and social and family constructs are all taken respectfully into consideration. We will work together as a team to establish goals and to help you overcome life’s demands, difficulties and barriers.
Primarily working with adults in the past, I have cultivated meaningful change in personal understanding and perspective. Whether working with adults, adolescents or couples, I aim to empower you to understand your emotional intelligence and self-concept, supporting you as you navigate social interactions, behaviors and thought patterns. My primary areas of focus are anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and adjustments or life transitions. I take an integrative humanistic approach to therapy, tailoring my approach to you as a unique individual. Some therapeutic techniques I utilize are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) with mindfulness practices.
