Are you having a hard time coping? Maybe you have found yourself falling into the same cycle, even though you do not like the result. Sometimes our body tells us before we even realize it; sleeping less or more, eating more or less, feeling more tense than usual, headaches, irritability, and the list goes on.

Our thoughts and behaviors have a huge impact on how we feel throughout the day. Sometimes we do things unconsciously and later feel defeated or irritated as a result. By building awareness around our actions, we develop better control of our internal experience. However, trauma can complicate things by confusing our internal voice and setting us up for maladaptive patterns.

I can help you unpack all of this. We can sort through your experiences, incorporate pieces that you want to keep and let go of those that no longer serve you.

I have worked with infants, children, teens, and adults with a range of concerns. From severe emotional disturbances and psychosis to daily life stressors and transitional periods, I am prepared to help clients through most struggles. I have previously trained in a college counseling center, foster care company, sexual assault center, psychiatric hospital, ABA treatment center, a psychodiagnostic clinic, and with the Department of Health’s crisis team. If you are struggling to cope, we can develop an individualized plan and begin moving toward your goals.

I am trained in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy and I am well-versed in psychodynamic theory. I often include aspects from positive psychology to help build momentum i n and outside of our sessions. Want to get started?
